SHOWS THIS WEEKEND!
A whole lot of acoustic happenings this weekend!  First, on Friday (which is technically today at this point), The Civil Wars and Madi Diaz co-headline a great five-act bill of acoustic music.  TCW has been seen on Grey’s Anatomy, and is made up of two very successful solo artists, Joy Williams and John Paul Jones.   
On Sunday, if you’re looking for affordable entertainment, we’ve got you!  Mike Vial, Howell resident, will preview his new album at Uptown Coffeehouse for just $3.00.  Entrance includes a free coffee drink and a free sample from Mike’s upcoming full-length record, entitled Burning the Boats.

Finally, I just confirmed two of the biggest shows of my life, including one that my wife told me she was “proud of me” for booking.  I turned down Brokencyde and Millionaires because that’s not music.  We arranged a deal with a local college to bring you some great shows this fall and into 2011.  We’re confirming a few other huge shows that we’ll be announcing soon.  And we did all of this before noon.  Actually, no, it was mostly after dinner-time, but it’s cool.  We’re rock stars here.
