Sorry I'm late on this...but booking/promotions is exactly what I'm trying to get into. I don't have any experience in this besides going to about 2-5 shows a month (most of them Fusion Shows) and being on a few street teams. I am coming from a completely different field so how do I get into booking/promotions? Thanks!

Booking is a hard line of work to get into. It’s very competitive, and there’s just a lot of people doing it. You can always promote though. Promotion is simply finding effective ways of letting people know about shows.
The best way to get involved is exactly what you’re doing. Get on street teams. Apply for internships. And once you’re there, hustle like crazy, and ask a million questions.
