Random musings from the Fusion Shows office…

Coheed and Cambria is such a weird band, but I love them.  

I wonder if Loune has any clue how good they are.

I want to start a record label with the sole intention of putting out Jeff Pianki records.

I miss Bedford Drive, Island View Drive, Kid Brother Collective, Silence the Wake, Anathallo, and Autumn and the Wasp.  And Tips.  And Monte.  And Tips and Monte (see Apathetic Critic CD, track 9).  Tips and Monte.  

I want to find a new Livingston County venue to compliment the Opera House.

I think La Dispute might rule the earth in 2011.  

I love our current schedule.  

I’m having the time of my life.

I’m sending out press releases right now.

I wish all venues were like The Strutt.

Is there any band in Michigan better than Brothers right now?

I’m sad that I don’t see more bands popping up in Livingston County. 

I hate being on video.  

I love typing long blogs.

Do you guys remember Hot Rod Circuit?  Man, what a good band.

I had someone mention the Rokk Box to me the other day.  Do you remember that place?  Holy cow, the Mathematicians there….  I’ll never forget the kid that flew out through the closed doors during their set, rolled onto the grass as I first walked up to the shed.  He looked up at me, dusted himself off, smiled, waved, and literally ran and dove back on top of the crowd, and someone else pulled the door shut.  

I like Cheddar and Sour Cream Ruffles.  I’m eating them now.
